Here Comes the Sun Queen
One of the greatest kinds of technology in this world is that which seeks to harness the energy of natural sources. It aids the world by helping reduce pollution emissions, but still provides the world with the energy it needs to function.
Solar energy is one type of “alternative energy” that known for being one of the cleanest and most readily available energy sources we have. For this project I choose Maria Telkes, one of the founding foremothers of solar technology. Her innovative thinking in this field brought us many items in solar tech that had not previously existed. She was a pioneer, not only in solar technology, but also for womankind, by setting foot in the world of science and technology – a world that was predominantly run by men.
